I'm not saying it
should only take half of the value of the perk ride away from you if you disco. I'm saying it
did only take half of the value of the perk ride away from me when I discod.
I started with almost 90 perk points for bombers. I hopped in an Arado (70 perk points) and started a mission. I discod. When I got back into the arena, I immediately checked to see how many bomber perks I had left, and it was in the low 50s (don't remember the exact number). That's about 35 perk points.
So, my question is,
was this a fluke, or does the system really only take away half the perk points of a ride if you disco? If it does, then great...I think that's a nice comprimise. I only have to suffer half as much because some scumbag might have to "pull the plug" so that he doesn't loose his points. If it doesn't, then maybe it's a bug that HTC would want to look at.

BTW...If you could tell me how to predict any random internet snafus that may happen while I'm flying in the future, I'd appreciate it. The one in this incident occured because I'm a retard, and logged in through the main route, despite the fact that my connects are always much better through the alt route. All the same, this method of foretelling a random event you speak of could come in handy! Perhaps worthy of a late-night infommercial?
