Why not try to wipe out the other games? 15 bucks a month might do it. I know this game is not finished but its what everyone in all the other games wanted all along. The natural improvement of the other flight sims. 30$ is 45 $ canadian,I bet its even worse for the guys from Europe with their high internet rates. We need more players at a lower cost because the next big thing will be here soon enough. You think alot will stick around when the next big thing starts beta? I started wb when this was in beta.Its funny that the guys who were playing both got me to come here. They advertized for AH especialy the price 30 vs hourly charge. This cycle will start as soon as the next big thing starts. Comunity keeps a game going we need a larger comunity simple as that. One more thing you cant say aw3 elite are not here because of the bleed over between the two games. When i started wb i was suprised by how many names i recognized. There was a fair number of guys who played wb to a certain money limit then played aw3 for its unlimited hours for 10 bucks. It will be interesting in 3 or 4 months to see how aw guys do in here.I have been checking alot of their scores and as a group we are improving with each week.

Thanks K-Ken missed that.

eye competition is good for us and for HTC they will have the best online flight sim yet and it will never be done just ask them. I already believe it overshadows all the others to date.

Call me a middle of the road type I guess.

I don't have a problem paying 30$ a month for the best sim out there. That was my average for Warbirds (some months much higher.I havn't been here that long & I'm looking forward to a few fixes (soon?) that will help. But price was only one of the things that brought me here.

For one A total lack of faith in iEN & what they are doing (& not doing) with warbirds. Being a part of a new growing sim & community, not to mention AH IMHO has much better customer service. Top of the line flight modeling doesn't hurt either.  

However, I can't afford to upgrade as often as was posted above.  I am currently running a older system (year & a half) and there just is no money to budget a new one. Or a new Video card for that matter. So I'm stuck trying to get the best bang for my buck out of my ageing p2 266.

Do I complain about frame rates? Never, I played & tweaked my system until I can get 15-25 fps. That seems to be good enough for now.

I like the fact that AH may be slightly elitist. AH has pulled together a great community. On the other hand I'm not afraid to help a newbie who knows nothing either. I was a newbie once also & remember all too well what it was like.

As to WWIIOL, well lets cross that bridge when it comes can we? No one knows at this point what planes will be available, how it will run on my older system. Or if I can affford it.
