Toilets in heavy bombers
« on: July 16, 2008, 09:07:49 AM »
They have them in today's B2s, so it made me think--why don't we have simple, basic toilets in our B17s and Lancs?

I mean ok, you might only be in the mission for an hour or so, not 6 hours or whatever, but the need to go is still very real and you can't very well just leave the controls.

I suggest another station, like a gunner's station, only equipped with a rudimentary toilet so that we can relieve ourselves mid mission.

All previous posts aside, this idea is really perfect.

No titanic, that's the thing, I want to AVOID the pain by allowing dilligent bomber pilots to relieve themselves in flight.

That's just part of the price of the life we have chosen, Titanic.

Relax, dingus, I'm not proposing to enter into a civil union with you.... By 'us' I meant all of us who fly the heavy bombers.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyy....

Lemme guess.. you spent a week off on some Tibetan mountain somewhere, exposing yourself to some serious passive inhalation of prime incense, while mulling over the runes of Jack Handy, Rod Serling, and just a smidge of Gary Larsen?

Then you returned with a vengence.

Right?

I have been to Tibet, but that was back in 2003... The week off was actually a temporary banning that I earned for an O club thread, much to Krusty's dismay, I'm sure.

Congratulations Slipknot. You have just become a god unto me. Perhaps an evil god, but hey, somethings better than nothing, right?

Slipknot is a shade account. Check it out, all his posts are between 0900 and 1700 hrs, with a lot of them during his lunch hour.

Hes probably a guy who was banned and hes posting from his work computer.

I declare thee, Neubob!

In any case, I definitely don't want him banned.  His posts are at least humorous compared to the usual B29 request.  And even the mocking requests are getting stupid.
