well, i've done it.

finally left the emerald coast and am sitting in charlotte on a two hour layover on my way to live in chicago for the next year.

havent been on alot lately as i have been prepping for the move.

have i missed anything?

Dude, you will have to come up for the EAA air show Aug 2. it is awesome, and to where I am a 2 hour drive from Chicago, and then 90 miles north of me.

Good move, relocating in the summer time when the climate is deceptively pleasant.  Come the dead of winter, you may be wishing for your sand box again.

BTW not only did chicago close (thankfully) but Gary IN. changed it's name to ghey, IN. Just thought you'd like to know. Enjoy the move and watch your back, the residents will be doing so........
