Tracking IR
« on: July 17, 2008, 04:37:40 PM »
How many of you guys are using Tracking IR system, I am, and what are the ways you are dealing with rear view problems in some of the planes, I'm just wondering because I haven't seen many posts about the Tracking IR interaction problems with the game. :salute

Before turning your head left/right to look behind you, lean sideways to the direction you're looking. I fly 190s almost exclusively so it could be different in other types. Play with sensitivity settings until you are comfortable, it takes some time to get it right where you want it.

Yes I already do that, what I'm talking about is distance when you turn and also when engaging Tracking IR if you notice it will zoom slightly, so when you turn your head without the side motion you are faced right up against the seat back, just as one example. :salute

When looking forward, lean forward a bit then recenter. That way you get maximum distance to headrest when turning you head to look back.
