Add Carpenter's "The Thing" to my list :D

I had some guy tell me "in-game" once that I was an idiot when I told him that Marshall Dillon was the alien "Carrot Man" in the original. :D

"What is it with you and all these negative waves?"  Classic line!

My favorite is of course, Star Wars (A New Hope.)
I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith.

All three Fellowship of the Rings Movies.  "Return Of The King" was the best!

"Starship Troopers"  Was way better than the book!
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

Do you think a remake of Kellys Hero's could ever pull off the greatness of the original?

Nope.  I was in Junior High when it came out, and a WW2 history junkie even then.  I was amazed that they even tried to make those "Tigers" look like an actual Tiger.  Sure they were T34/85s underneath but they looked the part.   The US guys looked worn and tired as opposed to Patton where everyone looked like they hadn't seen a second of combat.  I don't know what you could do to improve on the original.  How would you replace any of the characters with better actors?  Oddball, Kelly, Crap Game, Big Joe, Moriarity....Jeez what a great movie.

All those burning bridges......

There are WAY too many but one oldie that never lets me down is The Jerk.  Classic lines:

"Mom, Dad, I've got rythm"
"I've got a special purpose!"
"Someones shooting at those cans"
"Ahhh... it's a profit deal"

And of course, who can forget the touching love balad "I'm picking out a thermous for you".
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
