Where is the CO Pilot?

Wouldnt it be nice, when making those long boring buff runs to be able to hand the stick over to that copilot you know your supposed to have (forget for a moment that there isnt one in the Lanc).  There are runs here that take an hour. Why not have some sort of point and click plotting system similar to the CV menu which would allow you to put your plane on auto pilot to a target or back to base?  Also why is there only an auto pilot for climb speed and straight? Why not one for straight AND level?  Surely I am not the only one who likes to multi-task while playing the game?  Would not this feature be appealing? If you really wanted to be strict, just leave it for those planes with a co-pilot if you like, but give us Buff Meisters this little bonus! I'd payperk points for it!

Hit "X" and you are on auto-pilot...straight and level.

Yello if we could have co-pilot than 99% of buffs that you will see will be way above 30k... Now its not even funny

Well as to the X is copilot straight and level, thank you thank you thank you ! How did I miss that on the command list?  As for the Buffs over 30 k well ... thats where they are supposed to be or very high at least.  Buffs bombing from 10 to 15 k or less is a sign of a lazy buff pilot and is not a very good sim (the B24s did bomb low at times, my B24 vet friend - I do history research is why I know all these guys - said lots of his missions were at 12k but then again they were with air superiority and only to france - prolly B17s too at times). If a plotted autopilot lets them form up and climb for alt "over England" for a few hours then thats good because thats what they did.  Then to intercept them you have to use your DAR and go up ahead of them to intercept, which is what they did. And oh yes you have to guess right since the bomber course may be indirect and misleading (since on autopilot a buff can do this and still be afk and thus people will actually do it) which is again, what they did.  Will this make Buffs impregnable and awesome? No, cause if a buffer decides to do this it will take a ton of time, afk for him maybe, but still time.  So there would be less buff sorties and therefore not very many like this anyway.  SO yo can add a flight option thats very much a good sim, add playability and more fun with a simple program feature thats almost in the game anyway (youd have to add a height element to the CV course setting). Wheres the harm in that? none. If you really don't like that then how about this, a climb-turn autopilot? That would let a player go for alt over good ole England on auto at least.

Climb-turn auto pilot = set climb speed, go to nose gun,{5 or any turret} set your rudder a couple notches either way and go to work.

She will climb in a perfect circle till ypu return to cockpit view.

When did they put this thing in here and WTF is it for?

Thanks I will give this a try, though I still would like the ability to set way points and what have you. Heck it would make formation flying easier too if everyone could actually let autopilot follow the routes laid out.  As it is people are spread all over due to variance between machines (or lousy flying)
