And lawyers love to make lots of money over stuff like this?   OR NOT?

...er...NOT...

FWIW, I expect smack talk from teenagers.  By the time people get older I figure they're past the nanny-nanny-boogie stage.  Gets discouraging to see how many never make it over the hump.

LOLOL! Alpha males? How about computer dorks? Most alpha males won't spend hours upon hours playing cartoon games online, they are too busy working out at the gym with your wife or girlfriend.

This game has ALOT of cops, exmilitary and present military in it. I consider these to be A type professions. Am I wrong?

I don't mind a little banter so long as it stays lighthearted, intelligent, and funny.  When it denigrates to expletives and openly mocking someone I get a little disgusted.  If it gets too bad I'll just detune or logoff and drive on.  I'm here for fun and being a or being around rectal orifices is something I do for a living not entertainment.

Conspiracy theory???? :huh :huh :huh

IMHO that's a pretty far stretch! :O :O

I stating what I see and SOME others SEEM to agree on this BBS that they can also see it....

You are saying you can't see it?

That you have NEVER noticed the P.C. crowd getting their panties ina bunch and jumping all over something?  Or our MEDIA getting sensational about something?  Or our schools avoiding sports that might hurt someones emotional/selfimage thing?

And then of course you haven't noticed the attorneys that are just LOOKING to make money just looking for something to sue people over?  (Pretty sure they were all over the MySpace suicide thing.. doubt the girls parents had to look far or very hard for one...)

It doesn't OCCUR to you that someone may have an offspring flying on here, they decide to come watch for just a little, and get offended, and no AHII for their offspring, LOSING a customer and money for HTC, OR they get really offended and sue someone over some of the stuff on 200 (which BTW does from time to time get over the top)?   Which could also result in HTC losing money, increased business insurance premiums, or even far worse the possibility of all of us losing OUR preferred flight sim cause the money went to attorneys, in cases NO ONE actually won, that pretty much don't care about combat flight sims?

Not saying ANY of this WILL happen!

Saying I've watched this kinda stuff before in other areas of society.

AND

Every things going along fine, no one is having any REAL problem, BUT someone noticed what could very easily become a MAJOR problem in the NOT very distant future.....

then suddenly it IS a major problem and BANG everything gets changed!

And of course you've always got the NA SAYERS that said never happen... now saying their FAMOUS (and IMHO STOOOPID) "Who would have thought that was possible....."

I can NAME TWO areas of society where the type of thing I'm talking about has and IS happening right now!

Where the NAY SAYERS USED to say "That could NEVER happen....."

Wanna ask me what those areas are?  OR NOT???

You can't see it????

Fine NP :)

I really doubt that anyone, be it a proported Internet abusee or a lawyer, are going to be willing to put up the money to try to win a lawsuit over ch. 200 bantor.  After all, someone is going to have to pay for the attempt, and that means they'd have to believe they had a good chance of winning.

I wouldn't place that bet.

The court fees and such really wouldn't be that much to get one started...  You just need a claimant that's willing to "Make a stand," and has a few hundred dollars to blow, and a lawyer looking to make a name for himself, that'll work on a contingency fee, and there ya go.

I mean, if they were actually trying to win it, they'd have to start paying for doctor visits and such (I kind of doubt insurance will cover it) and report fees and all that would add up, but trust me, people sue over incredibly stupid reasons as is.

Very unlikely, true.  But these days, who knows.  Probably just a matter of time until someone tries it.

Of course, in all honesty, I think the first case that'll happen will be Skuzzy going after HiTech on Monday for some W. Comp after he blows an artery looking at what we've all been up to this weekend :D
