Education and experience are merely indicators. They are worthless in themselves.
It is the ability and a fit that matters. I have interviewed others many times. I've never even bothered to read the resume. Waste of time. I don't care that the candidate played football, or that he graduated from ????. What matters to me is what he can do, and whether he can be an asset to a team. And yes, a social fit is important.
A job is not a social service rendered by a company on behalf of a state. For every buck the employee is paid, he has to earn at least four. You can call me on numbers, but in general, after taxes, SS, benefits, insurance and all other overhead it costs an employer four times the salary to hire someone. And he, the employee has to produce at least that. If not, the employer is a suicidal idiot.
