RR: Away From Keyboard
« on: July 23, 2008, 09:21:53 AM »
I would like to Re-Request (RR) an Away From Keyboard feature other than turning your call sign red.

Original topic:

As the topic says, when you check the Away From Keyboard box anyone sending you a PM would receive a SYSTEM response notifying them that the recipient of the PM is currently Away From Keyboard. It would make sense that the feature does something other than turn your call sign into, "pretty colors."

I actually got booted from a squad because I was on a different vox and AFK. He asked me if I wanted to be on the squad and I was afk at the time, and when I got back, he told me I was booted. (from what I think happened, I also suspect that the CO asked me aloud on the vox I wasn't on...)

Not exactly. :D

Since he thought the idea was a decent one I'm reminding him or any of the HTC staff to attempt to add this feature by the next update. It would be a great addition to the game and I don't believe will be too difficult a task to implement.

How are you going to get any angry PMs if you not flying at the time?
