And Jesse Helm.....oh, nevermind
We're on a roll... I nominate Spike Lee and the entire KKK. (yeah, Spike's a little guy, but there's gotta be enough fat in that last bunch to make up for it)

I agree, the food there has changed and I can't stomach it anymore. Haven't eaten there in years. Wouldn't eat there if they had Britney Spears taking orders topless..... :uhoh

I wouldn't eat anything from Britney Spears topless. Not even the milk shake  :devil
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Accountability & Responsibility.

MickyD isn't responsible for what you stuff in your mouth; you are.

This has inspired me to cross-post my dieting log from this week.

So, the competition is the Lonestar JiuJitsu something or other this weekend in Houston. I entered beginners gi & no-gi as a lightweight (0-139.9). I normally walk around at just under 150.

"dog walking" = a 15 minute, 1 mile jog, 3-5 times a day. My dog loves it.

Sunday:
Morning Weight - 148
Breakfast - woke up late, skipped food, drank a 20oz Coca-Cola.
Lunch - Bacon, Eggs, Biscuits & Gravy, another 20oz Coca-Cola
Dinner - Italian sausage, asparagus, new potatos, iced tea
Exercise - 1 hour of dog walking.
Evening Weight - 144

Monday:
Morning Weight - 149
Breakfast - 20oz Coca-Cola, Whataburger sausage biscuit & hash brown sticks.
Mid-day snack - Can of Chef Boyardee Ravioli, 20oz Coca-Cola
Lunch - McDonalds Quarter Pounder, medium fries, medium Coca-Cola
Dinner - 12oz Ribeye, yellow squash soup, iced tea
Exercise - 45 minutes of dog walking.
Evening Weight - 144

Tuesday:
Morning Weight - 147
Breakfast - 20oz Coca-Cola, McDonalds sausage & cheese McMuffin
Lunch - Can of Campell's Beef Stew, a can of sprite (I do get crazy now & again)
Dinner - Grilled chicken breast over spinach leaves with goat cheese & dressing, 2 cans of Coca-Cola
Exercise - 1 hour of MMA, 15 minutes of light rolling, 45 minutes of dog walking
Evening Weight - 143

Wednesday
Morning Weight - 145
Breakfast - Frito Lay's Ruffles, original... the big bag, 20oz Coca-Cola
Lunch - James Coney Island mini-corn dogs, small chili pie, 20oz Coca-Cola
Dinner - 5 slices of pepperoni pizza, iced tea
Exercise - 45 minutes of dog walking
Evening Weight - 142

Thursday
Morning Weight - 144
Breakfast - McDonalds sausage McMuffin, orange juice
Lunch - Jalapeno Sausage po-boy, dirty rice, 20oz coca-cola
Exercise - 45 minutes of dog walking, 1 1/2 hour Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sparring

Hoping to only have to sweat out a pound or 2 on Friday before the weigh-ins. yay!

Just goes to show you that with rigorous enough training, you could probably live on a diet of Crisco and Jack Daniels. :aok

Actually, the training is not rigorous, at all. I'm supposed to be on a massively high protein diet and hitting the weights 3 times a week for strength training. I work 60-80hr weeks though, no time for that :(

I have a friend that works in a flavoring plant. They have to wear protective clothing to make the
flavors for Burgers and such. These are the same burgers we eat at these grease pits!

It is compared to mine lately. I just drag my bellybutton to the dojang and boss people around for a couple of hours. :D  Tell people I'm working on my "inner strength".

It took "Supersize Me" to teach you that? Yes McDonald's food sucks mightily. And over time it will kill you. Same can be said for nearly all fast food. What that Supersize Me guy did was reprehensible, essentially blaming Micky D's for moronic eating habits. Same can be said for the millions of lazy, fat bastages who go thru the drive-thru 3 times a day and then complain that something oughta be done.

This concludes our rant for the day. :D

Well, I was waiting for some dickweed from the O'Club to tell me what to eat but I got tired of waiting.

Anytime you work in the food industry/factory type setting you have to wear protective clothing.
Its not to protect you from the food. But the food from you.

Was helping a buddy of mine with a job he had at a Snapple plant.
the epoxy type coating we were applying required Xylene as a thinner and cleaning solvent.

I'm sitting there with a full face respirator and an outfit closely resembling a space suit
sweeping up paint chips that were scraped off earlier in the day in an area the was closed off completely from the rest of the plant for this particular operation.
And in comes this QC supervisor throwing a canary because I wasn't wearing a surgical type hood that covered my beard.

I looked at her, Looked at the mess,Looked at the xylene then looked at her again. And asked her.
"Your kidding right? Do you have any idea of what we are doing or what we are using?"

She just kept going on about because I wasn't wearing the right hood I was  putting at risk the product being contaminated.

So I asked her "Have you been hanging out in here when we aren't here? You really shouldn't be in here without proper respiratory protection.

She couldn't care less. the only thing she was concerned about was contaminating the product that not only wasn't even in the room. But not even being produced that week because of what we were doing.

Personally.
|think she was huffing the xylene.

As for McDonalds

that place started the long ride downhill when they stopped making real milk shakes.
What happened to the triple thick Chocolate shake they were famed for?

Now every flavor  not only isnt triple thick. but takes like imitation vanilla.
They just change the color

I confess ot eating there now and again.
But only as an occasional convienence when Im so hungry that the food isnt in my mouth long enough to taste it LOL

The beauty of making ice-cream out of clay is the lactose intollerant can eat it too! lol. Actually, when im sick and want a pick-me-up, I got to McD's because there is NO milk in the milkshakes and ice cream.

The last 2 times I went to Burger King The bread on the Whopper was moldy, and the other time was my food tasted like someone had run a dirty mop tassle across it. Tasted like chemicals.

PS I hope todays lunch there is better.
