Those spinners OK, Jester?   I started with ANA Flag Red, and dialled down the saturation and opacity, and increased the brightness a bit to get this.

Nah, you're thinking of the 80th FG - their's are the ones always pranged around the airfield.   :D

The 49th's Lightnings are the ones with all the German Kill Markings on them.   ;)

I just submitted this skin to HTC.   

Some background accompanied one of the b&w photos provided by Jester:

P-38G-13 43-2402 "Beautiful Lass"/White 99 of Lt John G O'Neill, 49th FG/9th FS, Dobodura, autumn 1943.   Capt. O'Neill flew several camouflaged P-38s.  This one had the nude as a pink girl with blonde hair and black shoes.   The name was in white.   The victory scoreboard carried 8 aircraft silhouettes as victory markings instead of the usual Japanase flags.

Best wishes to the 49ers.   Hope she makes it in and serves you guys well.

That was kinda a "unspoken" extra that went along with the medal.

Oboe has a RESERVED seat at the 49th FG "Bar and Grill" anytime he wants to claim it.   :aok
