Ok if ya'll want ppl to not take bases in TT then lets truly make it TT get rid of the airfields in that area, and also stop ppl from bombing gv's that are in a ground fight. That is the only way to truly make it TT. If the airfields are still there and there are ppl bombing gv's then I don't consider it TT at all it is just an island with a bunch of v-bases and a couple of airfields.

It's not perfect, and I like your idea, but until that time, we could make it happen as a community.

I'm not a big GV guy, but I still when I do want to GV it's nice to have a tanktown!

What about the people who go to tt to gv don't you think they should have a chance to do their thing?

Their thing really is to attack or defend against other enemy Gv's right? If one V base goes down they have another, if all are gone their airbase can easily get it back and the normal cycle can continue.

I really don't have much more to say in this thread. Just an idea...it probably belonged in wish list.

What you're failing to realize is about the only place to find air or gv fights late night is on the main island. Taking TT screws it up for eveyone looking for a fight. Personally I think the main reason it's taken is either to piss others off or because they're just easy to take. Lot's of other bses for the so called "Base Taking" guys/squads to occupy themselves with. Leave a place for the guys that fly late to fight at. Not too much to ask is it?

Here is what happened everyone.  There was a heavily defended field and the attackers (we) were loosing cap.  We were able to get the FH's down just about the time Skyrock shows up.  He immediately goes on vox telling the players there we were dweebs for taking down the FH's and we were a bunch of land grabbing morons. 

Here is the kicker though, he lands his vulch kills on the very field he lambasted the players for capturing.  That my friends, is gall.

I AM the CO of the Arabian Knights, and you have not spoken to me, it was the XO that you spoke to.

Am extremely disappointed in your post and the stance on posting.  Since this infomation is being brought to me through this board it goes along way in reaffirming to me on why this board is here and how a few like to use it as their vent and personal communication via public announcements.  I will be checking on this matter and give you the respect of an answer with a detailed finding as to what I will be doing.

For many years I have read these boards, and have posted very rarely to them myself.  A few reasons:  I have yet seen any post (other than a death in the community) that goes unscathed from those that just wanting to vie in with some sort of an attack. Secondly, it is of no surprise that there are some in the community that beleive they somewhat have such a stature that this is their board, for their use.  (This is not new as many have posted the same thoughts about it).

With that being said, if you really wanted an answer or just to complain, you should have brought it to me first.  But I see you have decided to bring things public before giving anyone the courtesy of taking any action, if required.  So your post was for?  action? answer? berating? flexing muscle?.  Action and answer would have been gotten the other way, loss of character while in the midst of playing the game is one thing, but loss of character outside the game tends to show true character makeup.
