small maps are ok if they were new and different, big maps are ok if they are not both in the same arena.

Personal i dont like the little maps as there is never any variation in where the attacks come.
last ight i had fun in the blue arena spending 2 hours or so defending against the cv attacks
and attacking cvs with tbms..

what i would suggest if you want a different smaller map you can try making one

Why do you people feel the need to start worthless threads every Tuesday about the same old crap.  Why not do a search and resurrect one of the 5,000 other "Big Maps suk" threads and add your worthless comments there.  Good grief, it's one day of the week.  Get over it - it's a game; if you don't like it, just take the day off.  Nobody forces you to log on; go walk the dog, talk to your wife/girlfriend, find a wife/girlfriend.

If you want something really different, try the Axis vs. Allies arena. That arena uses real maps of ww2 theaters. Terrain is different, too. I find AvA arena a refreshing change.

Imadot this thread was started on monday not tuesday, we have had the large maps in both arena's for weeks now it gets old. I dont fly in MA during that titanic tuesday anymore I use the DA or TA excluseively on that day. As far as "12 months ago most were complaining about not haveing large maps"? HTC seems to cater to the Furballers more than anyone else thats what these maps are built for those of us that enjoy captureing territory and expanding our countries % of enemy bases are left high and dry.Im sure HTC tries there best to please everyone but I for one know this is an impossible task. Everyone has a different idea of how the arena's should be layed out. But to be fair there should never be 2 of the same type of maps in both MA's and im sure there are those that agree with me.

Rgr that, I stand corrected.

This is an air combat game, but I understand your point.

I like to fly more than GV, but will do whatever is needed to help my countrymen.  Base captures are all good and fine, and the only way to reset a map without HTC intervention.  I would vote for an automatic map reset if the same map is up for more than a week or two.  As you point out, some are practically un-resettable due to their size and the relative size of the player forces in them.  Not to mention that some maps are just not that fun.  Perhaps someone could organize a mass exodus and have everyone play on the same side to roll the map in a matter of hours against undefended bases.

Well said, and I agree with your comments below as well.

I'd like to add that the nice thing about a big map is that they're usually so big that if you look in the right place, you frequently can find whatever it is you're looking for.  I realise that this isn't always the case, but more often than not I think it is.
