John McCain supports pulling troops out..

Slightly ironic don't you think...   :lol

I always find it funny that back when Clinton was in office and we had the troops killed in Somalia, the Republicans squeaked and moaned at Clinton saying we needed to pull troops out. Yet now they try to say Clinton cut and run. (despite the fact plans were already in progress to pull troops out prior to the battle of mog)

Yet Clinton stuck to the original time table pull out despite all the Republican pressure to pull troops out right away. Yet now the same Republicans that squeaked and moaned about Clinton not pulling troops out fast enough claim Clinton cut and run.

Also one of the most out spoken about the need to pull troops out is now running on the exact opposite platform in Iraq. This is why I can't stand Republicans because the entire party is full of hypocrites that think everyone in this country has a memory of about 5 mins.

Yes, those darned Republicans, always the hypocrites, and continuously lying.  Thank goodness we have the democrats around, 'cause there ain't a hypocrite among 'em.  I think I smell roadkill, and it's emanating from just above my post.

I think this has far more to do with Obama's latest nine point bump than McCain's change of heart. He's doing what politicians do when they're trying to get elected. You know... pandering.

That was stupid when it was bandied around endlessly regarding John Kerry.  Time hasn't made it any wittier.

Where do you get Daily Kos from I don't read that site. I think for myself and looked for this video myself. I knew he supported it because I'm not 12 years old with a gold fish memory of 5 seconds. I remember how badly the Republicans pressured Clinton to pull troops out then and I find it highly ironic that one of the most vocal on pulling troops out later claims Clinton cut & ran.

I just want some of you that apparently don't know the real history of this candidate to see what he supported before..

By any chance do you recall also the request for armor to be sent to the area that was denied by clinton's administration? If you are not going to supply the tools for the troops on the ground to complete their mission then the best thing to do is to recall them.

DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Some people just can't see past their own partisan outlooks. Sad really, because neither party is the least bit better than the other one.

Yes I agree with you.. I'm not a fan of most Democrats (but I did happen to like Bill Clinton) I'm not a Obama fan boy either, but I'd rather have him over McCain. In short I think our entire govt sucks but I see far too much aruse kissing of the GOP here in the Oclub, so someone has to even the score a bit.   :D

Your whole statement lost any credibility it might have had as soon as you said you liked Bill Clinton, who is just another lying hypocrite.

Yes and lets not forget the democrats calling for a defeat and even trying to mandate it through legislation in the current conflict.
