Pilot/Player Call Sign Memorial
« on: July 29, 2008, 10:36:10 AM »
Would be nice to see some type of Memorial for players that have passed, posting their call signs etc.

Any Ideas?

The sad fact is, there are cases where people have faked death on this BBS - i don't think this would work because of those sick individuals.

It is a shame because it could be a nice thing to do.

Would be easy enough to name maps after them.

I'd have to say no unless it was the choice of someone close or a relative to them.  :salute

That's just wrong, and people like that should be punished!

They are, it's a perma-PNG.

But Still, it should be the choice of a family member or someone really close to the player.

You can say that again!

That's just wrong, and people like that should be punished!

That said, it would be nice.  And in keeping with our "family" mentality, the right thing to do.

Or mission leading drones in CT.

That seems like a fair idea.

Well, I wouldn't mind one being named after Tex..

Yes, Tex was a player, he was my wingman in the 17th Air Warriors, and we were close in RL and in AHII...

How about an memorial gravesite, set it up on a map and put cpid on grave makers.
Since it would be "Holy Ground" no combat could occur. A player could fly/drive to the gravesites
and view all the markers.
