Lemme get this straight .... in your mind, such as it is, improving schools is synonymous with reparations for slavery?

Sounds like someone needs some comprehension reparations.

He was asked straight up if he was for reparations for slavery - Obama answered positively, in my mind saying: "yes - we need reparation money - and I would take said reparation money and invest it in black schools".

It always boggles my mind how some can TOTALLY MISINTERPRET a statement.   Granted I won't be voting for either Obama or McCain in November, BUT, how can he say he quotes, and someone else is hearing something entirely different?   

MT hit the nail on the head though.   Definitely a case of Obama being "miscomprehended".

When the moderator asked all of the candidates "who is for reparations" only Dennis Kucinich said he was for them. That seems pretty definitive to me.
