I'm not sure how hard this would be to implement...but why not have the ability to record.....while you are watching a recording?

This way, while watching the film you could hit alt-r and record again just the parts of the film you want to save.

It would sure save me some disk space

Hey nice idea...

Perhaps the ability to put together something along the lines of what is possible with the "Film Director" in "Driver" Oh God did I just admit I have a "Playstation"......

I`m still hoping HT will write a plugin for Adobe Premiere!

Welcome to the Adobe Premiere 5.0, 5.1 and Adobe Premiere RT 5.1 Software Development Kit

Version 5 Release 2 (October 1998) This is the second release of the Software Development Kit (SDK) for Adobe Premiere 5.x. The SDK provides the information you need to develop software modules which plug into, and extend, the functionality of Adobe Premiere 5.x. The SDK contains cross platform documentation describing the Premiere programming API, header files, and sample source code demonstrating all the major plug-in types. Example Microsoft Visual C++ 5.0 projects are provided for Windows programmers and Metrowerks CodeWarrior Pro 3 projects are provided for Macintosh programmers.

As always, any plug-ins you create with this SDK can be sold or distributed royalty free.
