See Rule #17

Sadly it won't.  AH is a great bargain - especially to those of us who were around in the days of $2+ an hour for Air Warrior - but, when crunch time comes, electronic entertainment, no matter how good, will lose out to feeding and clothing your kids.

Would have to agree with slamfire plus you have to factor in internet costs & other equipment issues.

I tend to disagree.. I'm in the online business myself and I've haven't seen much drop in income.  You have to remember when people are low on income they still want to have fun. Paying $14.95/month is relatively cheap entertainment for an entire month. Heck you couldn't even take the wife out to eat for that much unless she like 99 cent Wendy's cheese burgers.

I think more people will turn to the internet for entertainment if it gets very bad because even a $29.95 low end cable modem is relatively affordable if you put it in perspective to what a cup of coffee a day might cost. So for roughly $50 a month including internet they can be entertained for a entire month. Granted it just comes down to how bad off the particular persons income gets hit.

Had to let my AH subscription go, Crockett-the thing that did it for me though, was that the 14.95$ automatically going through my bank card would overdraw me, and cost me an additional $25. I had to cut it.

Yea that sucks when that happens. Granted it's not much money when you think of it as a cost over the whole month, but I guess if everything comes due at the same time then it can be a problem.

Well, in the coming year... provided Obama gets elected... we'll have to budget for extra taxed oil
(Obama wants to tax the oil companies' profit and give it to a certain demographic)...  then you'll have his
policy on banning offshore drilling - so we'll have a continued forced dependance on ultra expensive
Saudi oil.  Compounding things further, we'll have to pay extra for Obama's slave reparations... not
to mention his overdrive affirmative action programs (which to be fair will be bundled with the latter)...

Oh, and with an Obama pullout from Iraq, we can expect the fundamental islamisists to regroup and
launch new 9/11 style attacks against the US once again (since the front will be moved from There
to Here).  Also expect Obama to pander to European interest... so expect our already weak dollar
to keel over and die - savings passed onto you....

Yeah, justifying paying for AH will be a challenge...

Sorry, but the way things are going, Goodbye to Aces High - my kids will have to eat rice N' Beans and
we'll walk (sans rifle) for our meals...

My kids may be hungry, my retirement shot, but at least they'll speak good Spanish.

Thank you, Barrack Hussein Obama.  You are the Messiah of Islam and world peace.

As-Salamu Alaykum... Allah-u-Wakbar.
