Anybody know where i can get a disk to changh my vista machine to xp without spendin over a hundred dollars??? Is there a single legitimate reason wht its so much?

Disk is easy...you just need the installation key.

The real problem you'll run into is if the hardware was designed as 'Vista Only' then you won't find drivers for XP. (or you'll have to work to find compatible ones)

My hardware is "vista only'.  What I did was find the version series right before Vista, and download those drivers.  It worked for me, though I do get some freezes sometimes.

wanted to get away from the bloated xp OEM.

not much better, but it ain't vista so who's complaining.

 Yup if it works with Vista it will work with XP.
