     Navy sometimes used CVs to transport Army birds to remote locations.
They generally didn't operate off them except for a one time launch.

Just curious, is it a big deal? :lol

I'd understand if you could launch like Me 262s off a carrier or some other plane that will actually MAKE  difference furballing. (Unless of course, I'm in the P-39 :P)
