So rather than calling BS on somebody and asking for proof, you continue with old rumors on somebody else...

Okie Dokie.
That's pretty much the jist of this whole thread isn't it? I mean if we are spreading unfounded rumors based upon conjecture it fits right in, right?
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

The word overhaul is a stretch  :lol $500K is most likely the cost of the repaint alone.

I hear he carpeted the 757 with the scalps of conservative/Republicans and his leather seats are from the skins from the backs of the same conservatives.

Some of you really scare me, I am not a fan of Obama, but I don't need to create 'evidence' to show he isn't a good candidate.

"N"obama is going to make mistakes. he's going to make lots of mistakes. but he seems to have no problem reversing his stances if it will get more votes. he just flipped on off shore drilling. mistakes are common for someone with practically NO EXPERIENCE!! in any field. Why would politics be any different.

He has 153 days of federal senate experience. Hell, Monica Lewinsky was more qualified.

153 days experience
153 days experience

I dont care what party he is in.
he is not experienced enough to preside over the USA at this point in his career.
our enemies would love to have this greenhorn in office.

153 days experience
153 days experience

Experience is really a non issue.

That, and George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, never had congressional experience.  Niether did Grant, Eisenhower, Reagan, T Roosevelt, F Roosevelt, Wilson, Carter, or WJ Clinton.

Lincoln was an undistinguished one term Illinois Representative, serving two eight month sessions.  16 months and maybe 320 days of legislative days, if that much.

Quit confusing everyone with facts, Holden.  We all know removal of an American flag from anything disqualifies the perpetrator from PTA membership and crossing guard duty.

You can choose to refuse to put together a series of events that might signal a persons character, but many won't make the same choice and will notice a trend.

you do not refuse symbols just because. Wars have been fought for symbols.

A piece of whatever is worthless, but the symbol (an idea, a concept, a statement... ) it conveys is worth dying for.

sorry, no comparison in my opinion. The first 3 on your list shouldn't even be mentioned as that was in the early stages of our country and fledgling government.

Obama will have all major decisions made for him by "advisors". that is what is happening know.
comparing Obama to any of the above is very poor judgement.
Carter was argueably a poor president and Clinton was impeached.
The rest were statesmen and patriots. Most had military experience.
How many of our allies and enemies for that matter would consider Obama either a statesman or a patriot.

Obama has no ideas on how to fix things, only a steady stream of complaining about the current situation.(depending on the stage he has at the moment)
Hillary would have been a better choice than Obama. At least she has many years of government knowledge and experience to help her.
No single candidate has all the answers, but Obama doesn't seem to have any.

I feel the same way.  All final candidates get their planes repainted as he did.  I was just pointing out that it wasn't a total overhaul just a new livery.  Overhaul makes it sound like hes fly'n on the Soul Plane or something . :D

There's an upside to an Obama win. The Republicans might actually run a real "conservative" candidate next election (if they can find one in the current party). Maybe even a -- dares not think it -- a libertarian leaning chap. No, that wont happen. But at least not a slate of total tools like they did this time around.

For the Democrats, Obama promises the kind of rude awakening for the Dem "my party right or wrong" die hards that Bush provided for their Republican counterparts. I can see Obama trying to be all things to all democrats from the southern conservatives to the big city limo liberals to the inner city "where's my Govt. cheese" set and failing at all. Ted K will keep trying to cram his hand up his butt in puppet master mode, Hillery will be sniping for 2012, the Chicago Dem machine will be milking him for the pork, his corporate masters will be fighting against the save the whales and redistribute the wealth set... almost worth the price of admission.

He really is an amature, and he has an attitude and that makes him much more like four more years of Bush than the much more experienced politician, McCain. And I think it will show.

Obama is no  different from any other democratic candidate, other than his black skin.
