i understand this feeling about the big maps, if you log in and see only 100 in a arena, you knew no hard fiegt is going on. and you have to search for an enemy. it is ok if you want only a litel dogfight. but if you search for more it is hard to find. sure the old smal map with over 600 players is the other extrem....although i loved it hehe.
i still remember a battel around a field a14 (uterus map) it must be 2003 or so this battel was going on the complet weekend 24houers. there was a real battelfield around a14 with gvs, with bomber attacks, with dogfights.....i never see again so a hard battel it was so cool.
The big maps are ok with player numbers at 300-400 plus but below the smaller maps would be nicer. but this is a german problem because of the time diverence
