Fans injured at Rage Against The Machine concert
« on: August 04, 2008, 03:43:21 PM »
Rage Against The Machine reunited and played Lollapalooza here in Chicago Saturday night, the fans in the crowd started rushing the stage and injuring several fans, De la Rocha had to stop 3 times during their set to ask the crowd to back up because people were being injured.  I've always been a fan of Rage and I'm glad to see them back together, just wish I could of gotten tickets to go see them.  You can read more & see video here:

It's set up like a deck of cards
They're sending us to early graves
For all the diamonds
They'll use a pair of clubs to beat the spades
With poetry I paint the pictures that hit
More like the murals that fit
Don't turn away
Get in front of it

Brotha, did ya forget ya name?
Did ya lose it on the wall
Playin' tic-tac-toe?

Yo, check the diagonal
Three brothers gone
Come on
Doesn't that make it three in a row?

They're the band that got rich off of the evil corporate machinations they rail against... Like every other non-country band/artist... pretty much ever.

Good fight music thought.  :rock

Audioslave should have been so much more than it was.  I was always impressed with Rage's music, but not so much with De Laroca's incessant non-singing political rants.  I suspect that mine and many other's expectations were so high for Audioslave that they could never have delivered.

Thats the funny thing about the 'Anarchy Bands'

On youtube, i love pointing out the obvious to the idiots that love bands like MXPX.

Rage sucks, always have always will.

Something about some wanna be commies siting on a stage sounding like a black american rapper throwing lyrics out about things everyone see's and thinks. (evil country's evil leader's evil government's war is bad mkay?)
bah bah bah, get back on your band wagon country/nation/company hate fan boi.

yeah, real original.

I say again, RAGE SUCKS!

These people should have been killed, least they could have done for being rage fans.  :rock

First reason I don't like Rage is that their music sucks.. You hear a few songs; you've heard em all.
