Would it be possible to have "transparent" colours, instead of solid ones?.

I find sights very obstructing, the more complex the worse. Actually, I'm flying now with only a centered small dot as gunsight. I would say that transparent colours would better simulate the luminiscent (AFAIK) nature of the sights.

Cheers,

Pepe

Agree with you, and even more. AFAIK, GS were able to be adjusted depending on the head pos of the pilot (higher or lower). It could be great to have this option to be able to see the sight (well calibrated) for a higher pos of the head than the default.

Pepe there is one way to get "transparent" sights.

The usuall gunsight size is 32x32 pixels, this makes the normal 2 pixel line pretty fat (if u want a symetric sight)

I solved this prob by increasing the sight resolution. Atm i am using a 64x64 res i think (maby even 92x92 or 128x128 but i am at work and cant look for it).

I drew the whole sight by using 2 pixel lines for the cross (the vertikal and horizontal lines) and only 1 pixel lines fro the circels to determine lead angle. This result in much better vision throuht the sight, the lines are so thin that they are nearly transparent. I also use yellow lines instead of green lines so the sight has some glaring effect when i put it over the tgt.
