Hey guys, I'm still looking for a laptop, so I figured I'd ask you guys.
I need one for college-civil engineering to be specific. So I'd like it be pretty fast processing wise, and be able to handle more then just one program at a time.
Main things I'm looking for...
-Would like it to be a HP, but open to other brands.
-XP PREFERABLY lol, but I think that would be hard, and I don't want to have to play games with a sales rep for days...
-17 inch screen
-Pretty big HD (preferably 320, hoping for more then 250ish)
-Fair amount of RAM (2 gig min, 3/4 would be nice)
-Intel Core 2 Duo processor
-Good enough graphics card to run AH nicely (above average, yes I know, it's a laptop...)
-Wireless and hard wired internet options
-Preferably light weight, but I'm able to carry something around if it means it's less likely to break (around 7 pounds maybe?)
I don't care for stuff like a finger print reader, or web cam, or any other fancy stuff like that, I'd rather not pay for it.
Price range would ideally be 1000-1300.
Obviously it has to be able to play AH, but schools more important, so I'm willing to sacrifice, but I don't think it will be a problem????
Looking for some help here guys/gals, and I'd REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate it a lot! I'll give you my sheep!
