BnZ is more fun if it pisses the other guy off :D

Yea, that's one of the thing that I like about BnZ  :D

I don't think I've seen m00t in D9, almost everytime I run into him. He would be in 152. On this note, what are the advantage 152 have over D9 for tnb action? With it's longer wing, it seems to handles a lot better at slower speed and low alt, at the same time it seems to have a bad roll rate compare to the rest of the other 190s.
You guys are right, the more I think about it, he's mostly in a 152. But I don't think he'll hesitate to get up close and personal in the 152. As far as the 152's flight characteristics.. yeah, it's a total squirrel.

If you haven't already read it, read what happened to Lusche in a 152:

Yep, you can almost hear the poor surprised basterdd going "What The F**K!" as you blow by at 500+ mph.:D  I did this to a C-Hog on the deck one time and was rewarded with bloody mullet all over my prop and windscreen.:D  Very satisfying. :aok

I read the post you linked, and saw the pictures. I didn't see the film though, because I'm at work. It seems similiar to the D9. To me the D9 seems to have a random snap roll. Well, it's not really random. It's more of as you start pulling G. However, it seems to snap roll at any speed. I've done it from 450 knts and I try to pull out of a dive OTD, pulling about 5-6G. I've also done it at 2G while doing 150 knts in a turnfight situation.

Did you read Tango's analysis in that post of what he thinks happened? It's not really a snap roll per se, it's an adverse yaw problem common to high-aspect ratio wings (basically a higher yawing moment due to asymmetric wing drag. Looks like Lusche was trying his hand at drifting. ;)
I've experienced the snap roll problem you're talking about in the D9, and yeah, it seems to happen at any speed.
What were you doing turn-fighting at 150 kts in a Dora? Even the CV's have better turn performance.

You'd be suprise, how well the roll rate help the D9 at low speed OTD tnb though. Only problem is once the enemy overshot, you just can't nose up for a snap shot. I spent a buncha time in the last few tour taking D9 at 5k in TT trying to define its tnb capability.

Usually there's an enemy niki or spit on hand that's more than willing to define it for me. :uhoh

I mean it's a suicide mission. I usually never bring the bird back home after taking it out for a tnb run. It's fun trying it though in D9 though, just to be a lil different.

Dive, rolling like a mad man to the deck, in the direction of the nearest friendly ack.  Duh  :huh
Piss their pants and run to the nearest ack/friendly.
:aok

Based on empirical evidence and testimony of above individuals, we can say that BnZ lacks style.  :D

TNB is more fun in my opinion.
