If this isn't difficult to implement I think it will be neat to have.

Now I have longterm friends in another game who are sticking it out to the bitter end, facts are its dying and they need to jump ship.

An arena list on the website displaying how many are online and in which arenas,
A player roster,   like where your friends are?   link a BBS buddy list to the .sr command??   say someone in game does .sr it will show your name and location as BBS??
Access to the in game lobby from outside.
Scrolling text buffer on the homepage,  Not any chat just kill/capture messages?

The benfefits would be that outsiders will be able to see how popular the game is and think "I want some of that action"  without having to download.

Think of it as a method for free advertisement and improving community interaction.

It would be useful for people interested in the game & I think that would only apply to current & former players. As far as a useful tool for attracting new players? I don't know about that.

Ive thought that for a long time that arena info should be on a page. would be great to see who is in online and what arena.

I think it would, having the player number data to see is quite interesting.  Gives an option to compare to what they have to put up with.

If this is implemented, please add a disclaimer indicating that the number of players displayed is actual players, not robotic entities as they may be accustomed to (if you are referring to where I believe you are).   Otherwise, they are going to be subtracting 60-90 from the number mentally and at less populous times may believe that the arena is nearly empty, despite there actually being more players than they are generally accustomed to at all but the busiest of times and during special events in other sims.

Or as what ww2ol used to do a long time ago was to add a 0 (or was it add 100 to the total) to the numbers of players online.  Though they stopped after they were caught out
