Paris responds to McCain's "Celebrity" ad...

kinda funny, kinda sad.  She actually sounds more reasonable than either of knuckleheads currently running and the energy policy she presents, while uninformed (drilling now won't make an impact for quite some time) and still reliant on gov't handouts to solve the problem (more corporate welfare at the expense of taxpayers, yay!), does at least cut thru the political posturing and makes an attempt at providing a comprehensive solution.

She's got spirit enough to do that & put it out there. :lol Good for her to do that instead of whine & throw a fit... which actually would have seemed more in line with her typical spoiled brat behavior.

Was funny. :)  She already knows that nobody takes her seriously anyhow. :)

That may be the most frightening thing I've ever heard in my life.

Here's what's really sad:
The "soultion" she read off the cue cards is very likely to be what the dems come out
with after the election should Obama win and the dems retain the majority in Congress.

like obama she is in favor of "reasonable" os drilling, which means "i give lip service to drilling, but i really don't want it and i will block it"

it's like "reasonable" gun control.

Isn't it amazing that our choices for President have gone downhill for the last 20 years or so?

He with the most money and Corporate backing wins!

The above line elects our Presidents...we don't.

(more corporate welfare at the expense of taxpayers, yay!)

Why is it "welfare" if someone earning money get's to keep it?  If welfare is a Bad Thing, then why do so many support You and I going to work to pay for someone else not working?  At what taxpayer expense are they getting this so called welfare?

It's not welfare, it's paying taxes on what they do as a private business, and not paying as much as some socialist thinks they should.  It IS welfare to expect me to pay for someone not working and supporting their own family.

Nice soundbite though, probably feels good saying it.

What is so difficult about understanding it is not The Governments or Your Money!

She makes 15 million dollars a year doing nothing. Her own profit, not from her parents. She doesn't really act, doesn't sing, doesn't dance, doesn't paint...

Seems like she's a genius to me.

Because the other kind carries a jail sentence outside of certain cities?

Seriously tho, Yeager, that doesn't exactly make her much different than any other politician.

Her job is a "professional celebrity".

Call her all the names you want, she is making her money off of all of us because we cannot stop watching her.  Goofy thing, ain't it?

True dat.  I had used another word in place of "prostitute" but the Skuzzy filter changed it to potato or something.....

Dont get me wrong tho, I would nail her to the box springs with a ten inch penny nail given the chance  :O
