 Is something brand w has that I would sure like to see here. salvoing say 4 or 5 rockets and being able to hit the pickle button and then drop 1 egg instead of all of em would be a nice feature.

Change your salvo option. Use the .salvo 1 command. You can set it to fire as many as you want (or as the plae holds).

Mav, take rosco's example.  You have 2 eggs and 6 rockets.  You set .salvo 3, and choke off three rox.  You then switch to bombs, and unless you're really fast, you gotta fire 'em both.

What he's asking for is a one-key command to enable or disable salvo.

Program a macro into yer controller if it supports the feature

Uh, there are workarounds, but they don't make the request superfluous, especially because that macro has to be at least two commands (salvo 1 and salvo n), and, if you use variable salvos like I do, probably several more.

  Pluss I dont have any buttons left on my stick. they are all used up.
