I love watching the gymnastics portion... actually, I think I like watching everything Olympics. :) So awesome. Isn't it just incredible that in some of those sports you're considered over the hill at 25? Unbelievable. Anyhow, love watching the Olympics ~ sorry to hear one of our great American representatives can't make it.

Yeah, the gal on the vault, I think.

Crap, I'm sorry... sucking it up is a lot easier said than done. I got (I think) a broken toe. It still hurts pretty almost as much as a week ago. I don't normally think of myself as a wimp or anything, but crap, that little toe hurts (yes, changing my opinion about my own wimpiness I guess).  So take my toe & compare that to a broken ankle.

I can't even imagine trying to suck it up with a broken ankle for a vault... and getting gold. That was an incredible thing.

I'd be on the sidelines... just like Hamm.

I don't lump the gymnastics guys in with the ice skating guys as far as generalizations & assumptions.  It's not like they're doing the ribbon twirl dance or anything... the amount of strength & agility that (any of) them display is fantastic to watch.
