Much to do about nothing.
Russia trying to grandstand , but only has a park bench audience.
Democracy is two wolves deciding on what to eat. Freedom is a well armed sheep protesting the vote.

Be on the receiving end of cannon, rocket, and mortar artillery, plus sporadic air bombardment.

See how funny it is to you then.

...

C'mon, you can't pacify Afghanistan, stuck in Iraq, you seriously mean you can afford a conflict with Russia?!

I am seriously surprised by Western reaction. I see thinking people here, nevertheless you guys sound like you are insane.

Georgians, with US military instructors, were shooting MLRS at a populated city. Creatures who do such things should get caught and shot like mad dogs.

When he ordered to bomb Tshinvali - did he think how funny is it to be on the receiving end? What goes around comes around.

I was listening to the Georgian president last night in an interview with BBC world news. He made an interesting point. Russia is claiming Georgia fired the first shot, but how is it that Russia was able to mobilize that large of a fighting force and be already in Georgia in a matter of hours. If you know anything about warfare and logistics you would know this just is not possible. It seems to me Russia wanted a fight so it made one.

My dear distant friend!

Do you hear air raid sirens tested sometimes? I did. Almost crapped my pants.

Your problem is that you have never been on above-mentioned receiving end.

Vermin leaders should get caught and punished for military crimes.

I haven't. I have friends that have been under mortar & rocket fire. I've only been shot at (it sucks). That's why I don't laugh at either side.

The artillery barrage – the first against Gori since the five-day conflict began – suggested that, despite denials in Moscow, Russian ground troops had advanced into undisputed Georgian territory from South Ossetia. Gori, a town of about 70,000 people that was the birth place of Stalin, lies 15 miles south of Georgia's internal border with the breakaway region.

A Dutch journalist was killed and another wounded after a fragmentation shell exploded outside a press centre where western reporters in Gori, including reporters for The Daily Telegraph, have based themselves since the conflict began.

Sounds like neither side particularly gives a crap about civilian deaths.

Ever hear that story about all those Polish Officers that just 'disappeared' during WW2? During the Cold War, people just disappeared, anyone who had anything to do with the Soviet Union should be shot. Chernobyl, when the people were told something was wrong 3 DAYS after the re-actor exploded.

So you can pull out that card with them shooting at a populate city, but 'Russia' has done far worse things.

Wasn't Putin in the NKVD? I'm sure plenty of people 'disappeared' with the help of him.
