Water Spray Effects

With the navy coming, its worth mentioning this one-

I have always been mezmorized by film of hellcats and such strafing ships or shooting at a plane low on the deck and watching the bullets kick up tall white splashes of water that engulf the target.

Sadly, the first thing I do in a sim is fly around, shooting at stuff and checking hit sprites like a buffoon, but hey, I find that critical to immersion.

HTC has the following cool effects-

Plane Hits/Damage - Great, almost perfect like in the guncams. I have many videos of this, and they are damn good. Actually, I was watching a real tape last night of a guncam and was thinking how much it was like AH. The plane lost 3/4 of the wing too, pretty funny actually.

Tracers - Really good, and something I was really impressed with on my first flight in AH. Compared to the real thing, the AH smoke is really thin. In real life they tended to look much wider, and wave around a bit like a un-aerodynamic projectile would. Still, really good and effective.

Ground impact - Kicks up a little dust, not too bad.

Water Sprites - HERE's THE PROBLEM.
Please please please buy a copy of WWII Fighter by Janes(in the bargin bins under copies of Command and Conquer for $10)and go strafe some water.

In AH it is a shallow spray and dissipates way to soon. Compare with Janes. Im telling you, I shot at water for an hour like a idiot its so good.

This cant be a framerate thing, no worse than smoke Id say. So, I sure hope to see that small but important graphic get a update.

If we cant get NEW sprites for the 1.05, can the code somehow make them much taller, and not dissipate so soon?

There could be Scotch payoffs by Xmas.

You forgot two more:

1) Bomb blasts in water. In WBs it looked childish, in here it would kick some serious BASS!

2) Rocket strikes/blasts in water.

OH... It's all clear now... a Flor-DUh resident interpreting directions or obvious statements. No harm done, he'll catch on or feel all "taken advantage of" by the powers that be.

Never mind that, will HTC remedy the splashes that look like there is a black hole gravitational force sucking them back into themselves in 1 sec or not?

Lemee know asap, this bottle of 15 year reserve is about to get tapped.
