2nd Gulf War, we had 1/3 of what we had the 1st one, up against (an estimated) force that was twice as big. Our army was so damn good, they didn't need the extra equipment.

en masse in the 1st Gulf war. They did the exact same thing this time, except that after the formal cessation of hostilities, they drifted away and formed an insurgency. If anything could be said about the Gulf wars' one and two, the U.S. military's reputation preceded itself.
