I'm "  " close to hoing everything in MA that point its nose at me. Being nice, I hold fire on HO and rolling away is taking its toll on my planes=/.

There are methods that can vastly improve roll rate...... can even initiate a controlled snap roll.

I still wonder a 38J v. K4, which would come out victorious. Given both pilot are equal in skill level. To me it seems like the K4 would have the upper advantage. I'm bias though because I know the K4 more then the 38. I haven't run into a 38 pilot in 1 vs. 1 that my k4 can't handle. Given I haven't been able to run into many 38 in 1 v 1 in MA, since it's either I do the ganging or I get the gangbang. Rarely been able to run into a good decend 1 v 1 with any 38 pilot while fly in my K4, so I don't really know how well a K4 up against a 38J.

Delirium and I had a few bouts g14 vs 38j, I would say we both are rather proficient in our respective ac the fights were very good sometimes equal, but in the end the 38 came out on top in terms of fights won

 I use to have tons of fun with a good bud back in the H2H days. The arena setting was as realistic as possible, and the 2 of us would have tons of fun dueling each other, the guy name was Benny, and I'm not sure if anybody know him, if anyone see him, tell him I said "hi". I would be flying each and every kind of 109 there was against his Lightning. We had so much fun together, what's more fun is me and him matching each other every moves, until one of us couldn't match the other and get blown out of the sky. The good ol' times.

Sticks being equal, the 38 would likely come out on top for several reasons.

Primary amongst them, both are strong in the vert, but the 38 is more stable.

They have the choice between stability and instability.

In rolling scissors, on top of the roll. It seems the size of the 38 making it a tuff bird to roll at  stall speed. Which might be the advantage for the k4. Yet I can't tell if dual throttle w/ choppin 1 throttle and forcing it to roll would make much of a different in this situation. It seems that the 38 should be rolling slower at stall speed then the nimble K4. Again I still haven't seen it so I can't tell.

LOL!  That guy was a tool.  He 'banned' me from his room after repeatedly beating him in P-38s then started to claim it was because he had some sort of surgery.
