John Fogerty

  Just saw him tonight. First time ever. I listened to him since I was a kid, when my parents listened to him. I'll tell ya,,when he came out and played the first song, it all kind of caught up to me realizing how old he was, and how old I am now. Kind of an emotional experience. Ya, I was into the Captain too, but still, it was one hell of a show. Loved it!

I watched a Fogerty concert on the tube a couple of days ago.
I think the whole band must have been wired.
The songs were being played and sang waaaaay to fast.
A damn shame to see CCR music screwed up so bad.

You know some people playing some of the same songs for 20+ years need to change it up some.  Boredom would make the songs suffer more.  <S>

  He played a bunch from his Revival cd as well. Good music is timeless. You're a fan or you're not.

Tell you what.  You spend the next 30 years singing row row row your boat and not once change the tempo.  I'll even give you a couple weeks off here and there.

Not bashing CCR, I'm a fan.  Just saying knocking the artist for changing it up is very closeminded and selfish.
