First of all, I would love to know how free accounts took money out of any other paying players pocket. The only people who lost money on this were HTC. I believe they knew what was going on and allowed it to continue because of the possibility that the free-riders (myself included) would eventually become paying customers. They knew what would happen (IMO) when they created a two week trial with no credit card information. I bet keeping player numbers up in the arena also had some influence on this. Lets face it, people have been doing this from day one. It was only when certain players started whining and bellyacheing that something was done to stop it. I am sure that many of the free-loaders will now become paying customers. This will be good for HTC and for you bunch of pilots. You know you love to shoot down newbies. As for SPAM or CLAM or whatever his name is, I am not the only one who has noticed his abrasive personality, and the whining on channel 1 is also known, but that is okay, I am a whiner too.
I came clean, I put my butt on the line by telling the truth in these posts. I am sorry if the truth sometimes hurts. HTC knew about the free accounts, and they let it slide. Why not ask them why they did this. Instead of directing all of your anger towards me, why dont you ask them why they allowed it to go on and on for months without taking measures to end the abuse (so to speak). After all, you are the paying customers, you have a right to know why your $30 per month had to be paid, and others were allowed to slide. Maybe because HTC also knows that it is impossible to really enjoy this game for free. I love the flying, but I made some friends (at least i thought it did) and every two weeks, it starts all over. I wanted to be a part of the community, and maybe join a squadron, but that was not possible as a free-loader. I think anyone playing would eventually want to go legitimate after a while. If not, then they made good fodder. BTW I was Fodder also. What really hurts is when the dweeb starts shooting down the fellow who pays $30 a month. That hurts bad dont it? LOL

And keep this in mind. I am one of MANY who have done the same thing, and I'd bet that a big chunk of the paying customers have had more than one free account. (not to mention the spies)
So send me your hate mail, vent the frustrations of yer miserable lives on me, and do what you want. I think it is amusing that adults could get so pissed off over this.

keep that in mind the next time you freak out on someone for being honest. I guess I should have kept my mouth shut. I should have just pretended that it never happened. Oh well, I felt guilty and wanted to clear my concious. That was a mistake, because the vultures were waiting for me. (they always are!)
