U.S.A. goes Gold, Silver in Women's All Around Gymnastics!!!

That was absolutely amazing. Maybe one of the greatest moments in United States Olympic history!

Lucan took Gold, Johnson took Silver.

I think that may be one of the few times the United States will ever go 1-2 in an all around final.

So they did end up winning, thats good to hear.  Also I'm not sure I understand one part of your post, you say we took 1-2, but you also say they got Gold & Bronze.

Not sure if this was her, I think it was, but Liukin was robbed on her springboard event, she looked flawless, even the announcers couldn't understand why she didn't get higher marks.

My bad, Typo on that. Yeah, I don't think the scoring was that fair. Seemed everything early went for the Chinese.

I don't think anything will beat USA's 1980 Hockey team beating the Soviets. That absolutely ruled and I got to watch it live. America went nuts over those guys because they were all amateurs and the USSR team was basically pro's and we beat those commies!   :rock   :D

That was pretty amazing last night, I am so damn tired this morning because I stayed up and watched it all the way thru the medal ceremony.  Very nicely done by our girls! Lucan was awesome, and yes she got robbed on her vault no doubt about it.  There were a couple "iffy" scores that went against the American girls in my opinion.

I haven't been impressed with the judges to be honest, I'm sure there's some skullduggery going on behind the scenes, I've been seeing some strange scores...

That's what I'm talking about!  Shawn is "cute", if you like "cute" girls who are built like a brick s**t house.  Nastia is more fitting to my taste, not quite so muscular and a bit more elegant.
