Kingda Ka is a roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey, USA. At its opening on May 21, 2005, it became the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world, claiming the title from Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point. The train is launched by a hydraulic launch mechanism to 128 miles per hour (206 km/h) in 3.5 seconds.[1] At the end of the launch track, the train climbs the main top hat tower reaching a height of 456 feet (139.5 m).[2] Due to aviation safety concerns, the tower is equipped with three dual strobes: 2 mid-way up, and one on the top.
Any place that can be bulldozed into a parking lot can't be much of a theme park. I mean, the parking lots at Cedar Point are probably bigger than the parking lots at Reliant Stadium...
Do you know why Astroworld was closed? I mean was attendance low, or did Reliant Stadium just need the parking that bad that they made them a really good offer on the property? Because when I was there it always seemed to be crowded and it was right in the middle of a large metropolitan area.
property value was worth more than what they were making. Low attendance was caused by the thugs that showed up there, twice i was there someone got stabbed. wasn't a safe place for families any more.
