What is "your game"? umm, AHII

What do you like to fly and how?
F6F - my primary ride, I use it for everything,  :rock
109k4 - I'm addicted to its climb rate
seafire - A great plane, was the first one i learned in and got my first kills with it
F4u-needs no ex-planation,
N1k-  :noid
b-24-I like bombing with this one
c-47 -I love a good goon sneek, even better yet is when you get a proxie in one!!
t-34/panzr/flak-if i do the vehicle thing these are my weapons
I do some BnZ but mostly i am a turnfighter. I love a good attack run, and I have mastered augering

Are you a strategist? Yes when I have squadmates on. If am am solo I usually wonder around aimlessly
A furballer? Sure if I come across one, but I dont look for teh furball
A lone Ranger? Almost never if i am I do bombing runs, or I go to the TA
A person who just likes blowing things up? yeah sometimes you just have to go on a mindless rampage[/color

My favorite part of the game is when my sqaud plays the fighter game. First round we all up whatever plane, who ever lands the most kills gets to pick the next plane and we keep going till the furball has died :rock

Like Nilsen I enjoy the full spectrum of what Ah has to offer.

I have used pretty much all the planes, GV's and bombers in the game. I see no need to concentrate all my efforts flying just one plane and in one way.

I like to furball at times but get the most enjoyment out of working with others to accomplish end goals. Anything less for me would be a waste of my money.

It boggles my mind as to why some players insist on flying only one plane and concentrate only on high alt flying and picking. It's just to easy to do and with so much more to accomplish out of game why short yourself.

My "game" in AH is just like my pool game. I want to "run-out". A well played game of 9 Ball is a combination of getting perfect shape, shotmaking and playing defensively when faced with a  situation where you cannot "run-out" the rack.

I approach air combat in the very same way. I play for shape by setting people up to be killed, I shotmake with pretty high deflection shots and when I am not in a position to do either one of those I will play a safety by consolidating position and energy until I am again in a position to "run-out". If I end up landing 5+ pelts I have essentially "won the rack". If I fail to land or kill less than 5 I've lost the rack. Landing multiple "racks" in a row is a beautiful thing and highly enjoyable. Just as running multiple racks in 9 Ball is...

changes all the time, but most sorties involve flying an F4U into area that needs some defending or our CV is attacking.

I've clubbed seals, I've had long fights where I wasn't sure who was going to win. I actually don't like that uncertainty, although the final victory is cathartic.

I find the more I know about flying, the more likely I am to be able to guarantee the outcome, and I like that. It doesn't mean vulching lemmings or having the "advantage" all the time. It means I like it when I can see with my mind the "crack" in whatever the opposition is doing, the crack where I can stick my lever and begin to work, if that makes any sense. When I can mentally see the needed steps to the desired outcome, and execute said steps smoothly, that is the most satisfying.

Or to put it more succinctly, making a good shot and seeing the target go "boom". LOL

Quake is open ended enough by the physics, level design and weapon mechanics that tactics are not all that useful.  Counter Strike depends a lot more on it, but too small a portion of all the players use them.. There's other games like OFP but I've never played them enough.. I dunno about Quake Wars either.

The quake quip was what someone said when I suggested that the proportion of players who vulch merely because they like to see lots of poop and players blow up and burn or auger dismantled etc, is not a negligible one.  The quip was probably implying that to like doing those things as in (e.g.) vulching, necessarily meant you were a quaker with no apreciation of warbirds, dogfighting, geometry and timing, tactics and strategy, and history, etc, or the sheer satisfaction of not merely out-doing the opposing players at any or all of those, but also watching them crash and burn like so much gore and spraying blood after a really sober but intense and close fight between two smart sword fighters.
Like an oasis surrounded harem after a long trek and battle campaign thru desert.  Like what's her name getting her eye plucked out of the blue, at the end of the sword fight in Kill Bill.  Like not merely beating someone at chess but getting them to throw a hissy fit and turning over the table with the board on it, or somehow beating them with an end-game move that spells FU on the board.. Lots more than just a mathematical reward.  It's obvious to any halfwit that the fight is over after a check-mate.. What's really fun is making the most of that checkmate.

I'm usually am in tower watching the map for base porkers or possible noes.

I especially like fending off CV attacks, because you don't have to climb to 15k to be co-alt with the enemy.

Flew the KI-84 alot last tour and planned to fly it again this tour, but got really tired of not being able to catch the runstangs and 190s etc.

So I'm back to the La7 as my main ride, as its a pretty good all around plane and the KI-84 is limited by its lack of speed.

Usually only use the wirble for a gv. I'm not very good in tanks etc.

With the exception of having to constantly climb to 15k to be co-alt and not get picked off by the runstangs and other alt monkeys, I don't see too much to complain about.

Its all good, :salute

The hanger to me is a tool box with planes and load outs for the job at hand . and of course to go home after work and just relieve tension what better way then to cyber kill your opponents or cause mass distruction somewhere .Its all fun . :devil
