If you really think so, check out the actual song, just youtube "canon rock" you'll get hundreds, if not thousands of hits, and check out jerryC's or Funtwo's.

Contrails are engine start smoke, as it's probably taken from a film viewer clip, when you first load a clip the engines start and gears all retract.

That's why it's useful to give yourself a lead-in length of film before the footage you want (unless, like this case, it just makes a cool-but-brief effect!)
