Went to Six Flags yesterday
« on: August 15, 2008, 07:23:37 AM »
And was a Hell of a lot of fun. I was at 'Fiesta Texas' and I rode 'The Superman' (which pretty much scared the crud out of me because I'm not a rollercoaster person)

Six Flags 'Fiesta Texas' = T3h L337

Here lie these men on this sun scoured atoll,
The wind for their watcher, the wave for their shroud,
Where palm and pandanus shall whisper forever,
A requiem fitting for heroes

Cedar Point has more roller coasters than any other theme park in the world.  Everything from wooden classics to hangers and inverted.

Cedar Point is the end all be all of amusement parks.

Yea, but I'd rather drive from Austin to San Antonio than to Ohio.

You won't regret saving some money and making the trip.  It's a pilgrimage that all coaster fanatics must make at least once.

Oh, I hate rollercoasters. When riding the Rattler, we went up about 150-200 feet, scared the crud out of me when I started to go down. (Greatest fear is heights)

Schlitterbaun is the heat.  After riding all day long you can swim up to the hot tub bar and have a frosty cold one!

Cedar has the best all around collection of coasters, but not the top rated one. The #1 rated coaster in the world is The Hulk, at Universal Studios in Orlando. It has a chain lift to powered launch suprise on the initial hill, which flings you directly into a corkscrew out the top of a volcano. It's pretty sweet.

Or the giant wave pool, that makes the tital wave with the wall of water. Nothing better than riding on a tube there and chillin... :)

Standing a breathtaking 310 feet into the air, this "giga-coaster" will take thrill-seekers on an incredible 92-mph journey along 6,595 feet of track that winds its way through the center of the park, crosses a lagoon and dives onto an island.

Millenium Force.

goto http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/rides/coasters/millennium_force/index.cfm and under "point of view" click WATCH (or download it)

OMG! That's NUTS!
