Every view combination that contradict itself, e.g.: left+right (4+6), forward left+forward right (7+9), forward+back left/right (8+1/3), up+down (5+0), gives you a forward view that you can save a different head position for. Bozon: THANKS! I didn't know that, but I just spent 15 minutes optimizing 4 instrument views in my beloved P38L. Works great! Very handy indeed. Now it's much easier to check my oil pressure, or to see that tiny, almost invisible red True Airspeed indicator.
