Wow...found this on that page.  Old Nazgul site still up.  Helm was much younger back then.   :P

OH MY GOD!!!!

....Yes I was younger then!! .....I had totally forgotten I wrote that. I'd say I wrote that in 1997.  I laugh when I see that I was still flying Relaxed Realism at that time.  I stayed in "RR" wayyyy to long.  When i made the move to Full Realism, I could not believe how stupid I was for staying in relaxed realism so long.  If I remember correctly Full Realism had low population and I feared there would be no action.  Boy was I wrong!  Killnu thanks for pointing this out!  It really brought back a flood of memories.  Thanks! ....I owe you a few beers for that!!

Any tips on how to run that on a Mac?  I downloaded both the file containing aw120.exe and DosBox.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

Ya, I had just forked out $1,300 for useless Compaq with built in graphics (no 3d directx support), and pci slots. But I was able to play it in software mode.

A year later I built my first computer with a Voodoo Graphics card  :rock :rock

That was a fun year, 1997. Was playing all 3 Versions of Air Warrior  :aok

Does anyone have a link to the Mac version of AW?  I found one from Google but it didn't work.

Also, could someone please tell me what I should see as AW loads, and how long it should take to load?

We from MacAW still have an email group going. I'm sure someone on there still has it and would be willing to post it up. Give me a few days, it wouldn't hurt to send me a pm reminder either.
