I don't have a library with me right now but it's said that this particular N1K was featured with automatic extending flaps.

N1K2-J's maneuverability was boosted by automatic combat flaps.  Auto-extending flaps worked by a manometer (mercury U-tube) that measured angle of attack.

Pfft...one plane i could care less about ever seeing, yet alone updated, yet alone with combat flaps that make it more ubber.
If HTC add's that, i as a pilot will just work around it, guns guns guns and your combat flaps means none.
