Never saW any action in WW2.

Unfortunatly no, it didn't...

First flew on January 8, 1944; Entered service in 1945... was labled the f80 (fighter, not persuit...)...

So, although I'd like it, and I've heard alot about it from Tex...

Can't say yes :/

With appologies to...well, I guess I should appologize to pretty much the whole genre of Classic Rock for this abomination:

Skuzzy saw this topic one night,
Saw it and got really red
Shot this comp, shot it right in the head.
Topic got pwned 'cause it was really really gay
But if you listen to the wind blow, you can still hear'em say:

"Don't you know, don't you know, don't you know, AHII needs the Shooting Star"
"And all the world will groan just as long as they keep asking,
"Asking for the Shooting Star."

Nothing.  Two were sent to England and two to Italy so that some of our active pilots could test fly it and give feedback on it.  Not a single combat mission was flown by the XP-80.

The ONLY Allied jet that MIGHT meet the requirements to be added is the Meteor Mk III.

there are so many holes which need to be filled by historically important planes.

Cr. 42, He111, a new russian bomber or 2, the Betty, Oscar, ect ect.

Became a concept plane in '43.  No action in WWII.

But maybe we can make a Korea arena?
