Yeah, because there wasn't enough reason for people to fly the Nikki in this game already, and we need to give even more people even more incentive to strap one on.

They're very easy kills, at least in my experience.

The most used aircraft should all be AH2 standard.  New players should like what they see and be having fun to encourage them to sign up and stick around.

Anyone who is going to strap on a niki just because it is purty, is going to be an easy kill in that niki. I wouldnt worry much.

Maybe someday you will learn how to defeat the N1K ... and the other "easymode" planes that you complain about.

The wing root fairing does not look quite right. It's about in the correct place and height in the side of fuselage but it shouldn't extend that far to the wing IMO.

I think you're confusing me with someone else.  I don't think I've ever complained about "easymode" planes.

ps: I do gripe sometimes in the MA about getting HOed by every LA-7 and Nikki that I see, but that's a beef with the pilots, not the ride.  And I've killed my fair share of Nikkis.  My k/d vs. Nikki this month is 1.6, and last month it ended up at 2.73, so I don't have to wait to "someday" learn how to defeat the N1K.

Then why would you make such a statement ? What difference does it make if people chose to fly whatever plane for whatever reason ? If you have success against the N1K, then if the new version causes it to be flown more ... then all the more targets for you to kill.

In my experiences, just about EVERY plane type that I encounter in the LW arenas starts off with the HO.

Thx for good links Lyric but it still seems to me that while the fairing is rather large and extends to rather large area on the fuselage it does not extend that far to the wing, OR the angle in fairing is just sharper in the real plane making it look smaller than in that new 3D model.

Interesting pic of yours. Mine looks a little differant & it just might be the angle of the picture that was taken,or possibly two different models? Next time I am near the airforce museum I will pop in & take some pictures & see what we have got.
