I do most of the above. Smoke, bite my nails, can't get to sleep at a reasonable hour. Jeez, I must be a mess. :)

I started smokin at the young age of 17 and still haven't quit, I'm 40 now.  To make matters worse, where I work there is no smoking anywhere on the property.  So, I chew Timberwolf to get my nicotine addiction.

I drink alcohol but moderately becuase I'm sort of a lightweight.    I do however have no problem drinking a full pot of coffee.

Staying up until 3am no matter when I have to get up the next day.

This one is my worst habit, much worse then smoking or drinking.

02:40 here now :(

Thanks SD.  I never thought I'd have the willpower to quit but once you make up your mind on something nothing can stop you, and my discipline is that of a 6 year old.  I still have the odd one with a drink but I don't feel the urge to smoke at all which, to be honest, blows my freaking mind after almost 20 years of puffing away.

Wasting time is my bad habit today.

Years ago I quit smoking (1-2 packs of Kools/day) by switching to Copenhagen snuff.  It was like jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire (I never spit).

Quitting that was easy - because I just made an irrevocable decision based on my conviction that because I have kids, my body is not my own - but living through the next two weeks was so nerve wracking it was almost funny.  Every 3 minutes I would habitually reach down and pat my ankles looking for that round can I always kept under my pant leg in the top of my sock.  I used atomic fire balls to help me through that.   :aok

Snuff is the crack cocaine of tobacco products.
