Jeebuz, we all voted on additions to plane sets a while ago, and I'm sure the option will be there again.

There are some wondrful wishes on this thread, but yet HTC never impliments them to the game, or even tries them. Was just wondering if anyone knew why?

The problem is not with this forum or the folks at HTC so much as it is with your understanding(or lack thereof) of "wishes".  There is a very old, but very true saying that goes something like this "Wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which gets full first."

In all honesty, I bet compared to wishing on shooting stars, blowing out birthday cake candles, or tossing pennies in a well that this forum is probably about the best bet you have for actually getting one granted.

What is it that you don't have?

Seems like they've done a pretty good job listening and making decisions that make sense for the long term health of the game.  I don't know about you, but I'm sure having fun with it.

Well lets see here.

T-34-85 has been requested hundreds of times and we're getting it.

Wirblewind was begged, bribbed, and pleaded for for YEARS by the LTAR's and a few select others and we now have it.

Muti Monitor support has been requested a bunch of times, next update we see it.

Hundreds of requests for updates to the exsisting plane set, and EVERY new update for the past couple of years has had a few completed.

The Jeep was asked for for a long time, and we got it.

Being able to vote for the next new plane was a wish on this very forum for a long time and HTC delivered.

Take a long hard look at all the updates that HTC puts out and then go back and look those features up in this forum and you'll find that better than 90% of the work they do and release into this game are things the players have been asking for. Just because HTC doesn't read your wish and put out an update the following week to satisfy your request DOESN'T mean they don't read these forums and take every single reasonable request into consideration for the next update project. Some things just take longer to complete than others and they have to balance the simple and easy fixes/updates with the more complex additions/improvements.

All in all HTC is the most responsive gaming company I have EVER dealt with in regards to customer service and listening to what their customers want from their product. How many other games do you play were you can pick up the phone, make one call, and get one the software designers on the line in a matter of minutes to help you get your computer configured properly to play the game, and then actually see that same designer playing the game himself later the same day? Anyone think they could go to Microsoft games, or any of the other "big name" producers and just walk in the front door and say, "How's it going, I play your game and thought I would drop by and see how you guys make this thing." and get a tour of the office, get to sit down with the staff and watch them work, and hang out with the owner of the company in his office while he demonstrates the beta for the new release that's coming out? Probably not, but 2 years ago when I was going through Dallas I stopped by HTC and received a warm welcome from everyone on the staff. Got to watch Pyro do some programing on the jeep when it was being developed, saw the B-17 get it's new skins and updates, and had HiTech show me on his computer in his office how Combat Tour is going to work.

If your wish is worth while, it will come eventually, until then, hang out and enjoy what you already have.

Well you can't wrap it up any better than that Horny.  Way To Go!!!    :aok

All the griping that goes on tells alot about how spoiled we are!!

As stated before.  There is a whole lot of work and testing that goes into this and Im sure we dont even know the half of it.

 :salute  HTC!!

I think Hornet summed it up quite well. Many of us don't have an understanding (myself included) of just how much time & patience it takes to develop different aspects of the game.
