To all the insulting comments directed at me I suggest you turn your barbs on yourself here.

I'm not going around doing the stuff mentioned but to be frank you're coming off as a bunch of "Leave us alone!!! We don't wanna fight!!!" crybabies. I'm sorry but re-read this and the other threads dedicated to this subject. There's already too many of them.

What are failing to see here ?

Sloehand setup, with a bunch of GVers, times in the DA Arena to put on GV vs GV only battles at the GV DA fields ... said "griefers" would fly to their area with the only intent of bombing them and ruining their setup and fights.

They do want to "fight" ... but just GV on GV ... in a designed GV only area of the DA ... very simple to understand.

Also, and I realize it would be difficult if not impossible to implement, it would be great if the GV-only areas had some sort of barrier in place that would not allow non-GV objects to pass...and vice-versa in Air-only areas.  I don't visit the DA much, and the attitudes and actions of people such as those that get sick pleasure out of griefing others is the main reason why.

Being an individual who spent a significant time in the DA upon returning to the game, I must agree (reluctantly) with 1plus44 AngelsandAir whatever his name is..  Tachyon aka Zerofire is a skill-less kid who has never given anyone a good fight nor the decency of a salute for a good fight or anything..  To be honest, he is quite easy to shoot down if you can get him to slow down or come down (and stay down) from his 25K perch..  But to climb up to his level (or stoop down I should say) is pointless since Tempests aren't really made for that alt (Temps are ALL he flies in the DA)..

One thing I'd also like to add is this bit of information..  Tachyon (aka Zerofire) games the game as much as possible..  Beware..  I was in a DA squad called TA's Aerofighters upon my return to the game..  Apparently, Zerofire was "friends" with the C.O. and was "permitted" to hang out on our channel even though he wasn't in the same country..  We found out that he was using our own vox channel to track us and other friends that used to hang out on the squad channel (anything above chan 200 can be heard by all countries).  He would watch on the map when we keyed up and he could see us once we were transmitting..  However, since he never spoke on vox, we could never see him..  Albeit, the C.O. of that squad was a lame duck and let it go on "because they were friends" even though the rest of the squad disagreed with this tactic..  So, it's not just his extreme dweebazoid tactics, not just the fact that he "cheats"...  But the twit NEVER EVER comes in the MA..  No doubt because his name wouldn't be in lights like it is in the DA.   It's obvious he's just a kid looking for some attention, negative or otherwise..  I see him as the red headed stepchild of the DA...  He should be slapped as such..

Yes, with the Aerofighters, that's one move that the C.O. has been let aware of by ALL of us aerofighters, and he knows that if Tachyon is givin any other way to breach into our squad, or our affairs, Spacy Drag and I will officially resign from the Aerofighters...

He has no skill, he's a griefer, and on the utmost level, if anything at least ban him from the DA cause in the MA... I'm sure he'd have a hard time getting a tempest, and even if he could, I'd love to see him try to vulch a field  :aok

So are you standing by your statement that the DA isn't meant for private fights/duels?  Just curious.

So.... You're complaining because you're tying to AVOID the fight and somebody keeps bringing the fight to you?

This is not GTA nor Gran Turismo. It's not for racing jeeps or screwing around in private arenas where nobody can harm you.

You want that, play offline and save us ALL a bunch of this whining crap. He can't get you there.

The DA is for private fights, the Tank club guys meet in the DA to fight each other.  They are using the DA what it is meant for.  The little twit that is griefing them is not using the DA what it is meant for.  He was asked to stay away from a private fight and he didn't, he instead choose to grief those that were having their private fight.  It is really a simple concept to grasp but then when someone thinks 4 + 4 = 10, I'm not surprised you have a tough time grasping the most simple concepts.

None of you pukes is fighters, you hunt lone cons in packs like German U boats after troops ships in WW2, actual fights around you people are rare, and at best, accidental, as fighting is the last thing you guys do, which is why the Lake, a place that USED to be a blast, is now filled with little rook borg cubes comprised of Chogs and Tempests

Sadly, I agree...  The DA used to have a bit of chivalry and respectability back in the day...  Now, it's as you say: Chogs, Tempests, and any other perk ride you'd rarely fly in the MA..  I'm all for perking these rides in the DA...  And EVERYONE's perks would reset at the end of the month, just like score does (in the DA)...
